Restaurant Pétrelle

By a couple: chef Lucie and manager/ sommelier Luca, Luca delivers a flawless and charming service experience around the outstanding cooking of his wife and also the chef Lucie
Their tasting menu changes every week to reflect the seasonsThis 22-seat restaurant knows there’s nothing sexier than an eternal flame—they have a projection of one against a stone wall, single burning candles on tables set for two to four, and a small working fireplace. The romantic space is very grandma’s attic-meets-17th-century palace, with mismatched velour chairs, twinkling crystal chandeliers, and old sewing machine stands that double as tables. The modern French cuisine is just as steamy as the decor. Unexpected flavor pairings on the four-course tasting menu might include a creamy brocciu cheese mille feuille topped with a lone capucine leaf or a kiwi pavlova featuring bits of extra crunch thanks to teeny-tiny pieces of celery.

Eels

By chef Adrien Ferrand
Named for chef's signature dish–a composition of smoked eel with reglisse (liquorice root), and apples. A whisper of réglisse (licorice root) threads through the dish, adding a subtle, earthy sweetness and a hint of aromatic complexity that surprises without dominating. Scattered roasted hazelnuts bring the final touch: warm, toasty crunch that grounds the composition, adding texture and a nutty depth.

Perception
Located in 9th arr
By Chef Sukwon Yong
This restaurant was the product of a collaboration between Chef Sukwon Yong and Barnabé Lahaye, combining Korean cuisine—reflecting the chef's heritage—with French culinary traditions. The atmosphere of the space reflected this fusion of tradition and modernity. Stone and brick walls featured bench seating paired with simple wooden tables and were adorned with numerous mirrors.
